Also, characters like Dranton and Xerina originally were from Zendar.īraganca is only mentioned in the name of character Rodrigo de Braganca. Important characters from this town are Stavros and Hareck. It was a neutral city state positioned in between the Nords and Vaegirs. Zendar is a city featured in earlier versions of Mount & Blade. Matheld was the wife of a thane in Nordland. It is the original home of the Nords, who should share the same culture with them. Jumne is the land to the north of Calradia, over the ocean. This makes it possible that among the nomadic desert tribes, women have more rights. Another character from the 'southlands' is Gamara, another female warrior. The town has been under the leadership of a female bandit called Usiatra. Siri is a village in the deserts to the south of Calradia (directly south of the Sarranid Sultanate). As his starting equipment however, he possesses a cap with a lot of fur on it, suggesting he might come from a colder region (to the north or northeast of Calradia perhaps?) Lokti is a land mentioned only in the character description for Argo Sendnar, a merchant from that land. Lezalit claims to be the second son of the count of Geroia, suggesting a feudal nation. Like Balion, Geroia also is a land to the west, across the ocean. However, the name Konrad is clearly German. The fact that it lies beyond the sea might imply a connection to the historical British Isles. The only thing that is known about the land is that it is situated to the west of Calradia, over the ocean. You said you are planning on adding hundreds of provinces maybe adding the places mentioned in the lore might help?īalion is a country mentioned only in the profile for the custom battles character 'Konrad'. There are however also characters in the game that come from other places, only mentioned in the lore of the game. Now, the former lists contain the names of cultures that are playable and on the map of the Mount & Blade games. All the kingdoms seem to have agnatic-cognatic succession (male preference, but females allowed to inherit).Swadia used to be the capital province of the empire, so they'd probably have the most developed castles, most legalism law etc.The Nords would probably have a foreign religion, and something similar to Norse paganism seems to be the closest bet.The Sarranids and the Khergits may share the same religion (?) Perhaps something similar to Islam.I imagine it would be something similar to catholicism. It seems like Swadia, the Vaegirs and Rhodoks all share the same religion. They recently decalred independence, so there should be claims there, or de-jure crossover to represent the conflict. The Rhodoks used to be a vassal of Swadia. The Nords are invaders from overseas, so maybe they could be ruling over another culture (maybe Vaegir culture?).
MOUNT AND BLADE WIKI ARTIMENNER MOD
I'm happy to help with lore! I was making a Calradia kings mod before real work caught up with me, so I haven't got the time to actually do all that modding.Ī few things I could point out right now: Since this modmaker seemingly disappeared 2 years ago i have no idea to the status of that mod, and will therefore be ignored.įurthermore, since im also helping our with the Europe 2015 mod my time will be split between the two mostly. Note: Some googling showed that there was someone on the TaleWorlds forum who had abandoned a ck2 mod of the same name. But in general, anyone who wants to help is of course welcome. If not, i'll try my best to provide an accurate representation. I have limited modding experience and as a result, any map makers who are able to provide a good topography map etc. Now any contributors are welcome, and probably needed. Once these are all achieved, we'll see how it looks and decide the direction of the mod from there. The integration of whatever lore exists, not much is out there so any help or contributions will be massively helpful for anything i miss. Religions and Cultures of calradia will of course feature. With there being so few settlements compared to ck2's provinces, many will have to be made. The aim is to bring the world of Mount & Blade: Warband into CK2.
